Acceptable Use Policy — Zero Assist

This AUP applies to everyone who interacts with the Service — both candidates taking a monitored assessment and the organisations that deploy monitoring sessions.

When taking a monitored assessment, candidates must:

  • Close all unauthorised software, AI assistants (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude, external Copilots), and communication tools unless explicitly permitted by the interviewer.
  • Run the agent on a physical, standard operating system (Windows or macOS). Running it inside a Virtual Machine (VMware, VirtualBox, QEMU, Parallels) is prohibited.
  • Disconnect secondary monitors if the assessment rules require a single-screen setup.
  • Grant the OS-level permissions (e.g. macOS Accessibility permissions) required for forensic scanning.

Organisations using the dashboard must:

  • Use the Service solely for legitimate pre-employment screening and technical/academic assessment.
  • Not use the Service to surveil employees, monitor non-consenting individuals, or harvest proprietary data from candidate machines.
  • Not deploy monitoring sessions for anyone under 18 years of age.
  • Treat findings as indicators, not proof of cheating. The Service can produce false positives; every flag must be verified by a human reviewer before any decision is made.
  • Inform candidates of monitoring in advance and never instruct them to bypass or dismiss the agent's consent notice.

Across all users, you may not:

  • Attempt to circumvent, disable, or interfere with the Service's monitoring or security.
  • Reverse-engineer or extract detection signatures or proprietary algorithms from the agent.
  • Use the Service in violation of any applicable employment, privacy, or data-protection law.

Candidate violations result in immediate termination of the interview session and flagging of the session. Customer violations may result in account suspension or termination without refund and, where warranted, legal action. Report suspected misuse to our team.
